Hi! I’m Rachel, and I love to create things for my home and family — things we use for playing, wearing, eating, celebrating, decorating, organizing, and more! Each day, I strive to make intentional choices that reflect my values, gifts, and personal goals. I want to live the best life I can, and it’s up to me to create it.
I’m a mother and step-mother to three children ages 2-11, so you’ll find some projects here that I’ve made with my kids in mind. Along with my husband Tim, we live in the woods of Pennsylvania in the distant suburbs of Philadelphia. Instagram is a great place to find me between blog posts, and on Pinterest I share a steady stream of images that inspire me.
If you have any questions about the projects, processes, or materials you see here, please leave a comment on the post or send me an email, and I will be happy to respond.
I like the new blog!

Hi Rachel,
Thank you for your kind words about “OTOR”. I was the guy who came up with the Pope getting a Phillies cap for Christmas. I directed the special and story boarded most of it. The songs had little scripting, so I had to come up with business. I thought it would be funny to give the Pope a new hat, and since I grew up in South Jersey, I made it a Phillies cap. Now you know!
Regards,
Steve (aka Oscar) Moore
Thanks so much for stopping by and solving my little mystery! I knew someone must have been happy to sneak the Phillies into OTOR, so it’s fun to understand more of the context! ๐
Hi Rachel! I was enjoying reading through your list of 101 things that bring me joy, and also your list of 1001 things in 100 days, but now I see that it doesn’t exist. I’m not sure what happened. Can you possibly re post it? There are some great ideas there!
