happiness in a vase

I love spring. As soon as I walk out my front door, I smell lilacs. Technically, the lilac bushes belong to the neighbors on each side of my property, but if the blooms are hanging over MY property, I consider them to be mine.

These tulips, on the other hand, are 100% mine. I don’t have a lot of tulips, so I usually like to just let them grow, but these were growing among some weeds in the backyard, so I decided to rescue them.

Have I mentioned that I love spring?!

  1. Whoa I’ve never seen tulips like that. They look like flames!

  2. Phoebe: Ha! You’re right!

  3. Those tulips ARE unique. Are you going to dig up some of the bulbs and bring them to [location removed for privacy]?

  4. Nancy: The tulips were already there when I bought my house, and although there are quite a few varieties, there are only several of each kind — and sometimes only one. I love tulips, but I’d like larger groupings of the same color, so I’ve decided to leave these behind. The soap dispenser, on the other hand, will be coming with me. ๐Ÿ™‚
